Nayah Mullings
Enrollment Ambassador
Nayah Mullings is an educator, facilitator, and systems thinker serving as an Enrollment Ambassador for ICLI RISING. With a deep passion for justice and liberation work, Nayah is committed to community building and organizing resources that support people with marginalized identities. Nayah believes deeply that education and intentional leadership development are important parts of creating more inclusive, equitable, and anti-oppressive systems and communities.
Nayah brings 10 years of training and facilitation experience, and 5 years of experience in K-12 Education, Higher Education Student Affairs, as well as LGBTQ+ Non-Profit organizations. Nayah graduated from Amherst College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Five College Consortium Certificate in African Studies.
Nayah lives in Maryland with family and beloved black cat named Moira. Nayah is proudly Tanzanian (Nyiramba & Chagga) and Jamaican, and lived in Tanzania for 6 years as an adolescent. Nayah enjoys reconnecting with nature on daily walks, learning ancestral spiritual traditions, singing, storytelling, and watching gymnastics.
